DELSU To Hold Matriculation Ceremony For New Students Saturday

The matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted postgraduate, undergraduate and diploma students for 2025/2026 Academic Session has been scheduled for Saturday, 14h February, 2026, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, on Friday said.

According to an official bulletin issued by the Public Relations Unit of Directorate of Ceremonials, Information and Public Relations, Vice Chancellor’s Office, the event will take place in both campuses of the institution.

The statement added that the event at Abraka Campus to hold at the Convocation Arena, Site Il, Abraka, will commence at 9a.m., adding that all matriculating students are to be seated by 8.30 a.m.

Furthermore, the institution said that the ceremony at Oleh Campus to begin at 11.00 a.m. will hold at the 750 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering, saying that all Matriculating Students are to be seated by 10.30 a.m.

“By this publication, all Principal Officers of the University, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Staff, Students and other members of the University Community are invited to the ceremony,” the statement concluded.

Meanwhile, the orientation exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
