Payment Of Daily Road Tax By Tricycle, Motorcycle Operators Still In Force– DTSG

The Delta State Government said it has not stopped the sales of Daily Road Tax (tickets) in any senatorial district or local government area in the state.
A statement signed by the State Director of Information, Mr Dona Obiuseh, called on all commercial motorcycle and tricycle (Keke) operators to continue to buy their daily operational tickets, as refusal will not be tolerated.
The statement emphasized that the Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle (Keke) Operators Association (COMTOA), Delta State remains the only recognized association commissioned by the state government to issue daily tickets and collect such accruable revenue on behalf of the state government.

It warned state government will not hesitate to deal decisively with any group or individuals who deliberately or inadvertently subvert government’s revenue generation effort.
