2023: Gov Sule Will Have An Easy Ride, Says Nasarawa Speaker
Although the 2023 general election is still far ahead, but the scenario in Nasarawa State on Saturday has signalled the political equation in the state.
In what looked like a political campaign of some sort and a general acceptance of a leader, the people of Nasarawa across the 13 Local Government Areas in the state from Karu, the boundary LG with FCT, citizens converged in various LG borders to give the state number one man a befitting welcome.
The Speaker of the state assembly, Rt. Hon.Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, who received the Governor to Lafia alongside prominent sons and daughters of the state, said the show of love and solidarity for the Governor demonstrated by the people of the state has clearly shown that his leadership is fruitful and generally accepted by the entire citizens.
“You will recall that precisely two weeks ago the Governor was out of the country for a private trip abroad; we missed him and he is now back. So we are here to give him a well deserved welcome.
“He is the leader of the state and our father; he is the Governor, so we thanked Almighty Allah, who protected him throughout the trip.”
“His return will bring more peace, prosperity and development to our dear state.
