APC Chieftain, Ophiemu Dumps Party, Joins YPP In Delta
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC Ward 3 in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, Barr. Emmanuel Degema Ophiemu has dumped the party as he joined the Young Progressive Party,YPP, Ughelli South Chapter.
The legal practitioner said his moves is to form a formidable strength to wrestle power from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ughelli South, Delta Central and Delta State at large.
He urged all sons and daughters of Ughelli South Local Government Area to join him in YPP to wrestle power from the hands of the corrupt leaders.
Barr. Ophiemu said he left the APC because of their alleged marginalization towards the people of Ewu axis especially the riverine Communities.
According to him,”APC does not recognize the grassroots,the youths of this Country who are the future leaders. They abandon the youths to their feet.
“As a young progressing man of my nature, I cannot be seen to join a party that does not recognize the effectiveness of youths in Ughelli South, Delta Central and Delta State in general.
” YPP is the only party that rescue the youths from the old rotational leadership of the APC and PDP in Delta State.”

Meanwhile the Young Progressive Party,YPP in Ughelli South Local Government Area led by Rev. Omogor Emmanuel held its first meeting at the Jeremi Civic Centre today.
In attendance were the Vice Chairman Engr esisorigho Joseph and Secretary, Comrade David Duvweri as well as members of the party.
The YPP is also set to unveil its secretariat in Ughelli South with the Delta State Chairman of the Party, Comrade Ufuoma Awiniki expected to be in attendance.
