Police Give Update On Abducted Couple In Abraka

Delta Police Command has reacted to the abduction of a yet-to-be identified couple in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state.
The couple was kidnapped on Sunday evening while trying to patronize a popular supermarket in the community.
Reacting to the incidence, the police spokesman in the state, DSP Edafe Bright, said that the abduction did not look like a kidnap case because the husband was released almost immediately after he was whisked away alongside his wife and child.

Although he could not give enough details on the sad tale, he said that the police believe the freed husband has something to tell the Command about what occurred on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the police image maker said that apart from the couple and the child, no other person was abducted, adding that investigation was ongoing.
