Taraba State University Student Dies A Day To His Graduation, SUG President Reacts
Dominic George, a 200 Level student of Accounting at the Taraba State University has reportedly passed away, after a brief illness.
The news of his death came as a shock to his friends who said that “he wrote exams” a day before the sad incident.
According to his coursemates and friends, Dominic had earlier complained of having fever and became absent for the final paper on Thursday.
Sharing their condolences on Facebook , one said ; ” he’s coursemate… I wrote exam with him on Wednesday, since then ha has been complaining of fever and didn’t show up yesterday for our last paper ”

May the soul of the young lad rest in peace…Amen.
Meanwhile, Comrade David Bazoka, President of the institution’s Student Union Government (SUG), has sent his deep condolences to the family and students of the department over the sudden death of the 200L student
The president said the many sympathy messages on social media since the news of Dominic’s death broke, indicates that he lived a good life and related well with people.
He stated that late George was a hardworking young man who, as a 200L student of Accounting at Taraba State University, Jalingo, was already self-employed.
David consoled the Dominic family and prayed for the repose of the soul of their son.
