Shetty Gets New Appointment After She Was Replaced As Kano’s Ministerial Nominee

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Maryam Shetty as his Special Adviser on Culture and Entertainment.
Although it is yet to be officially announced, CBN Gov Akinsola Akin, a popular supporter of the president, disclosed the news in a tweet.
His tweet reads: “CONGRATULATIONS Shetty, Special adviser to the president on Culture and Entertainment.”

Recall that Shetty’s name was withdrawn from the ministerial nomination list and two other nominees, Festus Keyamo and Dr Maigari Mahmud, were added.
