Hon. Ogedegbe Reinstates Ethiope East Sub-Revenue Committee Chairman

The Executive Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe JP, has officially reinstated Mr. Victory Oghenero Igbasun as the Chairman of the Ethiope East Caravans Sub-revenue Committee.
This decision follows a comprehensive review of the case regarding the alleged extortion and the failure to adhere to due process in the execution of his duties.

In his announcement, Hon. Ogedegbe noted after thorough investigation into the matter, he understands no one is above mistakes, but warned that any actions contrary to the established procedures would not be tolerated going forward.
He further urged Mr. Igbasun and his committee to align their operations with the Ethiope East Revenue Bye-Law, ensuring that their activities uphold the integrity and reputation of the local government area.
The Chairman reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that all revenue collection processes are transparent, lawful, and in the best interest of the people of Ethiope East.
He also urged all staff and stakeholders to work collaboratively to enhance the development and progress of the local government.
