DELSU Shifts Commencement Of Second Semester Examinations To August 3
Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has postponed the commencement of its Second Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session to Monday, August 3, 2026.
The examinations, which were originally scheduled to commence on Monday, July 27, 2026, were shifted following the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
According to an official circular signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Engr. Prof. Hilary Ijeoma Owamah, the postponement is intended to enable a sizeable number of students resolve outstanding issues relating to course registration and other related academic matters before the examinations begin.
The university also directed the Director of Timetable and Special Duties to update the official examination timetable to reflect the new commencement date.
