Oasis Magazine is set to honour renowned cleric, educationist and community leader, Bishop Dr. Chap. Felix Chukudi Mikpoyibo, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Christian ministry, education, leadership development and community service.

Bishop Mikpoyibo is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Peculiar Cathedral Church, Inc. and President of Felix Mikpoyibo Evangelistic Ministry. He is also the Proprietor of Quality Foundation School, Obiaruku, where he has continued to promote quality education and moral excellence among young people.

Over the years, he has distinguished himself through service in various Christian and professional bodies. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Ukwuani Local Government Area, Financial Secretary of the United Association of Ndokwa Bishops, a Member of the United International Association of Pentecostal Bishops (UNIAPEB), and a Member of the Police Chaplaincy, Asaba, Delta State. He also made history as the Pioneer President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Delta State, among several other leadership responsibilities.

Born on May 11, 1969, to the family of Mr. Edmund and Mrs. Elizabeth O. Agagaraga of Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, Bishop Mikpoyibo began his educational journey at Emeni Primary School, Obiaruku, before attending Owesse Primary School, Kwale, and later Boys’ Secondary School, Obiaruku.

Driven by a passion for ministry and scholarship, he furthered his education at Christian Faith Theological Seminary, Lagos, and Kingsway University and Theological Seminary, Iowa, USA, where he obtained qualifications including the Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLC), West African School Certificate (WASC), Diploma, Bachelor of Arts in Theology (B.A.Th.), and Doctor of Divinity (D.D.), among others.

A significant milestone in his ministerial journey came on Friday, November 19, 2021, when he was consecrated, enthroned and presented with the Episcopal staff as a Bishop by His Grace, Archbishop Joseph Ojo of Lagos, alongside a team of more than ten bishops from across Nigeria.

Beyond the pulpit, Bishop Mikpoyibo is celebrated as a devoted family man. He is happily married to Rev. (Mrs.) Victoria O. Mikpoyibo, and together they are blessed with four children and a grandson. Their children are Mrs. Faith C. Agbabi, Master Fortune C. Mikpoyibo, Miss Peculiar C. Mikpoyibo, and Miss Precious C. Mikpoyibo, while their grandson is Master Zion C. Agbabi.

The forthcoming recognition by Oasis Magazine to hold on August is intended to celebrate Bishop Mikpoyibo’s enduring legacy of faith, educational advancement, visionary leadership and selfless service to humanity. His life and ministry continue to inspire countless people within Delta State and beyond, earning him widespread respect as a spiritual father, mentor and community builder.
