Ethiope East Council Polls: I Will Emerge Victorious, Says Ward 16 APGA Councillorship Candidate
The Councillorship Candidate for All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Ward 16 of Ethiope East Local Government Area, Hon. Believe Odjevwedje, has said that he will emerge victorious in tomorrow’s polls in the area.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine, OM, reporter during an exclusive chat, he added that his party had worked very hard and that he is sure of victory.
He said: “We are going to tow the way of peace, as we expect whoever that wins to be declared the winner. But, we promise to resist every attempt to rig the election.”
Continuing, he opined that the people in Ward 16 have suffered in the hands of their representatives, stressing that if he is voted for, he will use his salary in developing sports for youths and help to establish the women in the areas of farming and entrepreneurship.
“I have promised my boss, Chief (Dr.) Ovie Uwanogho that if I emerge winner I won’t decamp like others, but work hard to build the party in the state.
Council polls are billed to take place across Delta State, tomorrow, January 6, 2018.
