Medical Lab Scientists Scale Up Fight Against Quackery, Unwholesome Practices

The fight against quackery and unwholesome practices by the Medical Laboratory Scientists Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), recorded another casualty today, as a court in Warri, Delta State, remanded an accused, Mr. Efe Cletus Akpomedaye, a Science Laboratory Technologist in prison custody.
Mr. Akpomedaye was involved in the practice of Medical Lab sciences without proper training and license to do to the job.
This ruling which was delivered by Hon. Justice Nwite at the Federal High Court Warri in a case with suit No: FHC/WR/52c/2018 between the Federal Republic of Nigeria as prosecutors Vs Mr. Efe Cletus Akpomedaye and Clefas Ventures as defendants.
The ruling on his bail application has been adjourned by the court for hearing to the 24th of April, 2019.
