Kidnappers Of 8-Year-Old Girl In Abraka Demand N800,000 Ransom

Kidnappers of an 8-year-old child in Abraka, Courage, have demanded the sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Naira as ransom in order to release her to her parents.
Courage was kidnapped while returning from an errand she was sent by her mother who is a petty trader.
The incidence happened in Okoerhirhie of Abraka Community in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Oasis Magazine (OM) gathered that the father of the child is an Igbo business man from Ebonyi State who is into sales of CDs and a few electrical gadgets.
His shop just like that of his wife has been shot since the incidence happened.
Courage has been in the kidnappers den for four days and the prayer of many is that she returns unhurt.

Attempts to get the reaction of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, proved abortive, as she did not pick her calls.
In another development, a yet-to-be identified young man was murdered in Ogbedi in Abraka late Tuesday.
Our source said the murder was a cult-related killing.
The murdered youth was shot after gunmen who are said to be members of a cult group stormed his residence, shot him dead and left the scene.
