Breaking: Former Information Minister, Tony Momoh Is Dead

Nigeria’s former Minister of Information, Prince Tony Momoh is dead.
Momoh died at exactly 5pm on Monday after a brief illness at age 81.

Prince Momoh was a veteran journalist, politician and a former Minister of Information and Culture (1986–1990) during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida.
He was the national chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), one of the parties that were merged to form the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He hailed from Auchi in Edo State. He was born on the 27th of April 1939.
