Coronation: Your Emergence, Handiwork Of God, Okolo Tells New Olu Of Warri

Following the corronation of the 21st Olu of Warri , Ogiame lll, His Royal Majesty, Tsola Emiko, on Saturday which was coincidentally the 21st day of the month of August, 2021, more accolades have continued to pour in from different people to the monarch.

This time around is no other person but from Chief Eko lsinmidun Okolo.

He said the emergence of HRM Tsola Emiko as the King is the handiwork of God, saying if God says,’yes’, nobody can say ‘no’.

Chief Okolo who spoke to newsmen on Wednesday in Warri, said for Itsekiri nation to have this young, energetic,. intelligent and vibrant man as a King is a blessing to the people, just as he said, in no distant time, the needed growth, development and peace would be experienced in Iwere land.

He said: “There is no doubt, Itsekiri nation has not made a mistake, why? To have this young, intelligent, energetic and vibrant man as a king is a blessing and l believe, in no distant time, the needed growth, development and peace would manifest in lwere land.”

While congratulating the king on his ascension of the throne, he urged him to focus on what would bring the speedy growth, development and peace to the people just as he urged him to reach out and bring aggrieved persons to the fold because he is a father to all.

He said: “No doubt, we are aware that some people are aggrieved with the entire process, it is normal in this situation, notwithstanding, l urge the king to over-look all that and bring everybody to the fold because they are all sons and daughters of the soil”.

Chief Okolo also used the medium to call on those who are aggrieved in one way or the other to forget whatever transpired in the past as regards the stool and join hands with the king to move Itsekiri nation forward, saying, only the king cannot do it alone.

He said: “A tree cannot make a forest, so, l use this medium to call on those who are aggrieved with the entire process to put the issues behind them and join hands with the king to move the kingdom forward in this regard.”

Chief Eko lsinmidun Okolo who hails from Ikorigho Town in llaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, said the Yorubas have a strong tie with the itsekiri as a nation, adding that, they are ready to maintain the smooth existing relationship with them.

Chief Okolo said he was ready to contribute his quota in the little way he can to the kingdom whenever he is called upon.
