2021 Superstar Scouting program: “25th Is Arrival Day, All Preparations Intact,” Says Apugo Victor

All is now set for what seems to be the biggest scouting soccer program in Nigeria as Superstar Football Academy annual under 15 to 19 program commences this Friday, November 26 in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state.

Head of the LOC, Honourable Victor Opugo, revealed that over 15 international foreign club managers and reputable scouts will be on ground to scout players for their respective clubs.

He said: “All is now set to commence this year’s annual superstar scouting program.

“Date of arrival is billed for Thursday 25th of November and the program will commence the following day.”

Victor Apugo whose academy hosted former Spanish and Real Sociedad Fc, Inigo Idiakez and British scout Simon Hunt in october this year in preparation of this annual program, assured that there will be maximum security all through the tournament at the Godswill Akpabio staduim.

After the return of the annual program with no thanks to Covid-19 for its third edition, Ukrainian Premier league side, Rukh Lviv signed six players from the Uyo based academy after scouting them in the 2nd edition.

Some of the participating teams expected are Elite Space Academy(Enugu), Glorious Day Academy (Lagos), Hope of Glory(Calabar), New Generation Academy(Umuahia), Family Love Academy(PH), Melvin FC(Benin), Yoka Stars(Kaduna), Elkanemi Juniors, TBC Abuja, B Angel FC(Abuja), MarkanFC(Owerri), TBC Jos and Diamond Stars Academy(Calabar).
