Governor Willie Obiano Sacks All Political Appointees

The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has terminated the appointment of all political appointees in his government.

Information about the termination was communicated to all the appointees in memo by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu.

The memo, which was sighted by Reliable sources requested all affected persons to submit properties of the state government in their possession.

He said: “Such appointees should handover government property in their possession on or before Wednesday.”

Obiano will vacate office on Thursday, March 17, after an eight-year term in the state.
