DELSU Releases Academic Calendar For 2023/2024 Session

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has asked old students to return back to campus for the first semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Session on Sunday, November 19, 2023, as lectures begin on Monday, November 20, 2023, for all students.

This was contained in an official bulletin from the institution’s Public Relations Office released on Friday, October 13.

According to the bulletin, fresh students are to return earlier on Sunday, November 12, 2023, to commence their Medicals and Screening on Monday, November 13, 2023.

While the Orientation of fresh Students will commence Wednesday, December 13, 2023 and end on Friday, December 15, 2023, the university fixed Saturday, December 16 for the Matriculation of fresh students.

Also, lectures are to end Monday, February 16, 2024 and examinations to start on Monday, February 26, 2024 and end Friday, March 22, 2024, just as the institution said that a two weeks break will begin March 25 to end Friday, April 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, the Egwunyenga-led management said the Second semester will begin on Sunday, April 7, 2024, with lectures commencing on Monday, April 8 to end Friday, June 21, 2024.

Continuing, the bulletin said Second Semester Examinations will run from July 1-26.

DELSU also hinted that after the second semester 11-weeks break, the First Semester for the 2024/2025 Academic Session will begin October 14, 2024.
