TCN Announces Planned Preventive Maintenance At Oghara Transmission Substation Tuesday

“TCN notifies the public that a planned preventive maintenance exercise has been scheduled at its Oghara 132/33kV Transmission Substation on Tuesday, 17th December 2024, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM,” The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), said in a statement.
The statement on Monday signed by Ndidi Mbah, GM, Public Affairs, added that “the exercise will enable TCN’s maintenance crew to carry out the annual preventive maintenance of the T1 30MVA 132/33kV transformer, its associated equipment, and the 33kV feeder bays.”

Adding: “As a result, the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (Benin DisCo) will interrupt electricity supply to customers through the Oghara Town and Teaching Hospital feeders during this period.”
TCN however assured that “bulk power supply will be restored immediately after the maintenance is completed.”
