Ajede Flags Off Digital Skills Empowerment Programme For Ukwuani Youths
The Executive Chairman, Ukwuani Local Government Council Hon Barr.C.S.Possible Ajede (Phd) on Wednesday, Flagged off the Empowerment, Training of COMPUTER AND PHONE REPAIR PROGRAMME at the ICT Building Complex in the Council.
In his welcome address, the Capacity builder congratulated all shortlisted candidates while thanking God for making the dream of establishing a functional ICT Centre in the Area, a reality, even as he noted that the programme was birthed from the quest of the Ajede led Administration to upgrade Youths to enable them compete with their contemporaries in the Labour Market all over the world.
Barr. Ajede maintained that beyond admitting people into the School, it is imperative to know that the world has gone Digital to a point that every one in the Society needs needs Technological Skills,(According to some, a professor needs the Skill to validate his professorship), to diversify.
Further, the Chairman unveiled that the Council has made provisions for Competent Resource Persons who would ensure that all trainees are adequately tutored to aquire a better knowledge of Technology.
Speaking on phone repairs, the Council Boss further displayed his confidence in his people when he mentioned that the government has chosen Experts from among his Constituents who would lecture and guid the trainees on the said area .

The innovation advocate also encouraged the people to reach out to his office through Mr Chukwunomanazu Osondu who is the Chairman of the programme if they need help in certain areas of concern, adding that the Council acknowledges the financial constraints on the part of participants who do not reside in the LG head quarter and as such, would mobilise Ukwuani Transport Line (Ejeluno) to help cushion the effect of difficulty in transportation on his people.
In their collective remarks, the Trainees, expressed profound gratitude to Barr. Ajede and assured him that this kind gesture would never be taking for granted.
