Aniagwu Tasks New DBS Management On Effective Service Delivery

The Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has urged the new General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba, Mr Francis Osabohien and his team to work together as one to move the media outfit to enviable heights.
Aniagwu gave this charge in his office yesterday in Asaba, when the new management of DBS Asaba paid a surprise visit to felicitate with the commissioner on his birthday anniversary.
The commissioner emphasized on the need for females to be included in the management team, saying that women have important roles to play in the affairs of any organization.
At the ceremony, which also witnessed the presence of representatives of SMART Delta, the commissioner appreciated the management of the Ministry of Information, DBS Asaba for the initiative, saying that he never thought he would celebrate his birthday.

Present at the event were the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mr Paul Osahor; the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olisa Ifeajika; the Board Chairman, DBS Asaba, Comrade Felix Ofou; and Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Communication, Mr Nduka Omodon;
Others were the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Media, Mr Nelson Egware; the Director of Information, Mr Dona Obuseh and other directors in the ministry, as well as management staff of DBS Asaba.
Highpoints of the event were the presentation of a portrait to the commissioner by the DBS Asaba Management and the cutting of the birthday cake.
