Mobile Policeman, One Other Shot Dead In Delta
Gunmen have reportedly shot dead a mobile policeman in Warri, Delta state, The Nation reports.
Sources said the said policeman was shot along the NPA New Port area of Warri.
His AK47 rifle was said to have been carted away by the arms-wielding hoodlums.
In another development, a young man was reportedly killed Saturday in the Iyara axis of Warri.

His killing, sources sajd may be cult-related.
According to witnesses, the late security officer was said to be seeing someone off when he was attacked.
He was said to have died on the spot.
When contacted for comments, police spokesperson, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the killing of the mobile policeman Sunday afternoon.
Her words: “Yes, it is true, the police officer was shot dead on Friday as he was escorting someone. His rifle was collected.”
