Kaduna LG Polls: PDP’s Bid In Kajuru Suffers Setback As Cafra Demands N100M For Defamation Of Character
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2021 Local Government Elections for Kajuru, Honourable Cafra Caino has instituted a legal action against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) executives in the LGA for alleged defamation of character.
From documents sighted by our correspondent, this is as a result of a petition submitted to the chairman of the Kaduna State independent electoral Commission (KADSIECOM), which accused Honourable Caino of planning to steal votes.
The petition which was signed by the local government PRO of the PDP, accused the APC candidate of plots to hijack the election.

He is therefore, seeking the court to compel the PDP to compensate him with the sum of 100 million Naira for defamation of character.
A source from the APC camp who craved anonymity, said that already, the case has been instituted in a competent court and the PDP will soon be served the summons.
