Obaseki Attends UNIBEN VC’s Son Wedding, Tasks Couple On Love
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, at the weekend, attended the wedding ceremony between the son of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Prof. Lillian Salami, Amen and his heartthrob, Oyenkachukwu.
Obaseki, at the event held at the Salvation Baptist Church in Edjeba, Warri, Delta State, urged the couple to imbibe the virtues of love, sacrifice and tolerance.
Speaking to journalists after the ceremony, the governor congratulated the parents of the groom, wishing the newly wedded a fruitful and fulfilled married life.
He said, “I celebrate with our own dear Prof. Salami as her son, today, ties the nuptial knot with his heartthrob, Oyenkachukwu.
“It is a thing of joy to witness this auspicious ceremony. I wish the couple a happy and fruitful married life filled with peace, harmony and joy.”
The groom, Mr. Amen Salami is the son of the Vice Chancellor of Benin (UNIBEN), Prof. Lillian Salami and her husband Prof. Charles Salami.
