Delta PDP Campaign Council Congratulates Edevbie At 59
Director of Delta State Campaign Management Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rt Hon Funkekeme Solomon, has on behalf of the state campaign council congratulated former governorship aspirant and immediate past Chief of Staff to Delta State Governor, Olorogun David Edevbie, on the occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary celebration.
The party in a goodwill message by the Assistant Deputy Director, Media and Publicity, Latimore Oghenesivbe, described Olorogun Edevbie as an illustrious son of Urhobo nation and a major stakeholder in the advancement of constitutional democracy in Nigeria.
The party said Edevbie’s name has been etched in gold as a result of his inestimable contributions to the development of Delta State since 1999, haven served in various capacity as two time commissioner for finance, and as Chief of State to Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

Funkekeme urged Olorogun David Edevbie to put behind him the past events of the governorship primary, wherein he came second, and join hands with the party leaders and structures within PDP to work for the landslide victory of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
“On behalf of Delta State PDP Campaign Council and the management committee, I Congratulate you, Olorogun David Edevbie, on the occasion of your 59th birthday anniversary.
“You are our beloved brother, friend and loyal party man. Your passion to serve humanity is well appreciated and cannot be overemphasized.
“Your meritorious service to the state and people will always be appreciated, because you served humanity to the best of your ability and without blemish. You will continue to serve, going forward.
“I urge you to kindly put behind you the events of the governorship primary and join hands with party leaders and the campaign structures within PDP to work for the foreseeable landslide victory of our candidates in 2023.
“We wish you good health, longevity and prosperity, now and always,” Funkekeme Solomon said.
