By Ogo Clarkson
Residents of Delta state have called on the newly elected Governor of the state, Sheriff Oborevwori to mandate the Petroleum Monitoring team to seal up any filling station that is hoarding or selling petroleum product beyond the regulated price of two hundred naira.
Respondents in Warri, Asaba and environs said they are facing a tough time getting the product to run their business following the statement made my the new President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reminding Nigerians of the subsidy removal by the end of June.
Mattew Atete who was at the Shaphat filling station since 7am to 4pm on Tuesday said this is not a right way to commence President Tinubu first day in office because majority of the petroleum dealers have took unnecessary advantage to milk the public.
He urged Governor Oborevwori to clampdown on any filling station hoarding the petroleum product.
