2 Siblings Die After Fence Collapses On Apartment In Lagos
Two siblings died after a fence from a neighboring compound collapsed into their apartment in Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Saturday.
The victims, Rakib and Mujib Atolagbe, were aged 9 and 7.
Their bodies were recovered after hours of being trapped in debris amidst rescue efforts by residents of the area.
The incident occurred at Alao Street, Isawo, in the Ikorodu Local Government Area of the state during a heavy downpour. The fence gave way due to the weight of the water.

The spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, South-West, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the incident in a statement released.
He said the agency was working with the Lagos State Building Control Agency to assess the situation.
Farinloye urged residents to be cautious during heavy rains and to report any structural defects to the authorities.
