Bayelsa Gets New SSG

Gov. Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has sworn-in a new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.

The new SSG is Professor Nimibofa Ayawei.

Diri, in a post on X Friday, wrote: “Congratulations to our brand new Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government, Professor Nimibofa Ayawei.

“I am fully persuaded that Prof. Ayawei is qualified and suited for the office.”

“Shortly after taking his oath of allegiance and oath of office, I charged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment,” he concluded.
