1ST ANNIVERSARY: Tunde Smooth Lauds Oborevwori, Delta Assembly’s Developmental Strides
Renowned businessman and Bolowei of the Niger Delta, High Chief Tunde Smooth has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor and members of the House for their sustained contributions to the development of the state.
Chief Smooth made the commendation in an interview with journalists at the 1st Anniversary thanksgiving service of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Region 34 Headquarter, Unity Model Parish, Asaba on Sunday.
The business mogul applauded Governor Oborevwori for his impactful services to Deltans in just one year, adding that the partnership between the Executive and the Legislature would pave way for the overall development of the state in line with the MORE Agenda of the Governor.
He said Delta was blessed to have the present crop of leaders in the state, expressing optimism that the next one year would be a year of greater advancement for Deltans in all ramifications.
Smooth commended Governor Oborevwori for the many projects executed in Warri and environs including the Upper and Lower Erejuwa Road and the ongoing construction of three flyovers, cloverleaf, pedestrian bridges and road expansion projects in the oil city of Warri.

He said on completion of the projects, Governor Oborevwori would have succeeded in renewing and revamping infrastructure in Warri, Uvwie and environs and urged the Speaker and members of the House to continue to legislate on bills and motions that would have direct impact on Deltans and residents of the state.
The Ijaw leader further prayed God to grant Governor Oborevwori, Speaker Guwor and members of the State House of Assembly the wisdom and resources to lead the state to greater heights.
