Onuora Mourns Iwuayanwu, Ubah

A chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Delta Central and South, Nze Francis Onuora has mourned the demise of the President General of Ohaneaze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuayanwu and the Senator representing Anambra South at the National Assembly, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

Onuora who is a Senior Special Assistant ( SSA ) to Governor Oborevwori on Nonidigenes Affairs, in a media interaction with our correspondent in Warri, described the death of the president general of Ohaneaze Ndigbo as a painful loss to the Igbo Nation.

He also remarked that late Chief Iwuayanwu was a forthright and visionary leader who he said had good agenda for the Igbo Nation.

Onuora who is also a Warri based sports wears and equipment merchant, recalled that the late President General of Ohaneaze Ndigbo contributed immensely to development of soccer in Nigeria with the establishment of the defunct Iwuayanwu Football Club.

Nze Francis Onuora who was a personal assistant to Ohaneaze Ndigbo Delta Central and South and later vice chairman of the group in Delta Central and South, described the demise of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as a great loss not only to the people of Anambra South, Anambra State but to the entire country.

He stated that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah will greatly be missed in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly for his useful contributions on issues on the floor of the house as he remarked that Senator Uba was a vibrant, fearless, resourceful and detribalized lawmaker.

Nze Francis Onuora lamented that distinguished Igbo personalities died when they were needed most.

He then prayed for the repose of their souls.

Chief Iwuanyanwu passed last Thursday while Senator Ubah died a day after.
