Ethiope East Council Boss Visits Family Of Urhuoka Youth Killed By Suspected Kidnappers

Ethiope East Local Government Council, Delta State, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe JP, has visited the family of late Marcus Samuel Dafe in Urhuoka-Abraka who was killed by suspected kidnappers in Abraka some days ago.

The council boss disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

According to him, “his tragic death is a painful loss, not just for his loved ones but the Urhuoka-Abraka Community and the entire Local Government Area.”

He continued: “Marcus was a dedicated youth leader, and his absence will be deeply felt.

“I listened to the concerns of his family and other community members about rising insecurity.

“I want to assure everyone that we are taking urgent steps with security agencies to address these issues.
We are committed to making sure such a tragedy does not happen again.”

Ogedegbe also assured that “justice will be pursued,” saying their efforts to restore peace and safety in Abraka and all of Ethiope East will not stop.

“Together, we will honor Marcus’s memory by working for a safer, united and Peaceful Ethiope East,” he concluded.
