Executive Director of Projects on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Olorogun Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu on Thursday 27th November, 2025 received a delegate from a sister Commission, Kogi State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, KOSOPADEC, in his office at the Commission’s Headquarters.
Welcoming the Kogi delegate on behalf of the Board, Dr. Okorodudu praised KOSOPADEC for reaching out to other oil‑producing commissions to study their operating models.
“On behalf of the Board, Management and staff of DESOPADEC, I welcome you to the Commission. Anyone or any organization that reaches out to others to learn already possesses a vision that will yield success. I want to commend the Kogi Oil Producing Areas Development Commission for deeming it fit to reach out to other oil‑producing commissions. Nobody is an embodiment of knowledge. DESOPADEC ranks number one because of its robust organization. Established in 2007, the Commission’s mandate covers 21 of Delta State’s 25 local government areas, guided by the principle of operating according to quantum.
“By the time you return with other members of your Commission, we will give you the full details of our modus operandi. We look forward to welcoming you and your team,” Olorogun Okorodudu said.
The Executive Director of Projects then gave a brief rundown of his Directorate’s operations, outlining the functions of each Department and explaining how the Commission works and assured the visitors that DESOPADEC is ready to receive them for a courtesy visit in two Weeks’ time.
Earlier, the delegate, Dr. Engr.
