DELSU Advances Practical Entrepreneurship With New CES Paint Production Hub

The Vice-Chancellor of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Prof. Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, has commissioned a 12,000-litre capacity Paint House at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) of the university.
The commissioning ceremony, held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, was performed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Hilary Ijeoma Owamah, who represented the Vice-Chancellor.
The Paint House is designed to produce a wide range of products, including emulsion paint, textcoat, matte, POP/screeding, graphitex, stucco, gloss, flexcoat, floor paint, and satin paint.

The project was sponsored by the DELSU Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) in partnership with Eggo Colours Nigeria Limited, Asaba, as part of the university’s efforts to promote practical skills acquisition, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students.
Speaking at the event, the Director of CES, Prof. Onos Onoriode Emoyan, reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to the Vice-Chancellor’s vision of promoting hands-on entrepreneurial training, self-reliance, and industry-relevant skills among students of the university.
