COVID-19:Delta Records 9 New Cases, Discharges 1370, Active Now 98
Delta State yesterday recorded 9 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases to 1511 and active cases to 98,while a total of 1,370 patients have been succesfully treated and discharged.
The State Ministry of Health confirmed the figures in their latest report.
The state ranks 7th among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers and Kano states. The state has so far carried out tests on 6,701 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.
The state also lost 43 patients on account of the pandemic.
