JUST IN: Chief Paulinus Akpeki Escapes Kidnap Attempt

Chief Paulinus Akpeki, the Ugo of Okpe Kingdom in Delta State and Chief Strategist to the Office of the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, narrowly escaped a kidnap attempt on him on Wednesday.

According to a statement by Akpeki, the incidence took place along Oben Road, close to the boundary between Edo and Delta States.

Hoodlums in recent times have carried out kidnap operations in that area freely.

The kidnappers are said to have been heavily armed and shot sporadically at Akpeki, who is said to have narrowly escaped the blood-thirsty kidnappers.
