Online Application For Recruitment Of Staff Into Technical Colleges Commences In Delta

Online application for recruitment of teaching and non teaching staff into technical colleges in Delta State has commenced.

A government special announcement, signed by the Director of Information in the Ministry of Information, Mrs Theresa Adiabua-Oliko, enjoined interested applicants to log on to the Website of the ministry, technicaleducation.deltastate.gov.ng, adding that after successfully applying for any of the available vacancies, an applicant would receive a confirmatory SMS or email message as applicable.

It added that applicants were required to upload their academic and professional certificates, NYSC certificate or exemption letter, a passport photograph each, certificate of Local Government of origin, birth certificate or age declaration, National identification card or NIN, where applicable.

According to the statement, only successful candidates would be notified through SMS, while those applying for the teaching cadre would write a competitive aptitude test, adding that those going for the non-teaching cadre would undergo a rigorous oral interview.

It advised applicants to apply within two weeks of the publication of the statement, saying that those that applied earlier before the announcement should reapply appropriately.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Applications are to be completed online and free of charge at the Ministry of Technical Education’s portal, https://technicaleducation.deltastate.gov.ng/. Upon the successful application online, applicants will receive a confirmation SMS and/or email (where applicable).

2. Applicants are required to upload the following documents to the website in (2) above.

a. Academic/ Professional Certificates in respect of (1) above

b. NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption or Exclusion Letter

c. Passport Photograph

d. Certificate of Local Government of Origin

e. Birth Certificates / Age Declaration

f. National ID Card/NIN Number (Where available)

3. Applicants are to apply online within two (2) weeks from the date of this publication.

5. Shortlisted candidates would also be notified by SMS and/or email.

a. Only those in the teaching cadre will write a competitive Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and only candidates who are successful in the CBAT would be invited for the Oral Interview /Microteaching Practicum.

b. Applicants shortlisted in the non-teaching cadre, shall undergo a rigorous and competitive oral interview on a date to be sent to them by SMS/email

c. All applicants are advised to use functional phone numbers and e-mail addresses

6. NOTE

a. This advertisement supersedes the earlier one and those who earlier applied should please reapply as appropriate.

b. Induction/Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage
