Male Journalists Creating Division In Kaduna NAWOJ, Chairperson Cries Out
The Chairperson of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kaduna State Chapter, Hajiya Fatima Mahuta has cried out that male journalists are bent on creating division in NAWOJ.
She daid this when Team Farida Abubakar visited the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), ahead of the NIgeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna Council Polls, billed for December 16.
“It is a pains me that the men are the ones trying to cause wahala between the two ladies.
“Why don’t they bring out a man against the women and then they will know what we women can do,” she said.
Speaking further, she wished the Team Faridalll the best in the election.
In his remarks at the meeting, the Assistant Director News FRCN, Yunusa Garba urged all eligible voters to go for the best candidate at the polls.
“As far as we are concerned as veterans, we would always tell you to go for the best.
“I want to passionately appeal.to you to go round, get the best to lead us,” he charged.

While thanking Farida Campaign Team for visiting FRCN, he gave them his blessings ahead of the polls.
“I will like to thank the team for visiting us and wish you the best,” he said.
In her remarks earlier, Farida Abubakar said that experience matters in leadership position and she has served as NAWOJ Chairman in Kaduna State, NUJ chairman KSMC Chapel as well as the Chief Press Secretary to former Kaduna First Lady.
“As NAWOJ Chairperson I did so much within 13 months. Vote for me, if not for anything, to unite our members,” she appealed.
Speaking further, she stressed the need for members of the union to be united.
“I beg of you all, let’s be united. I have never fought anybody and election will not make me fight anybody. If I lose, I will join hands with whoever wins and move the union forward.
“We are professionals so we should not be fighting anybody, but one thing that is certain is that I have been cleared to contest the election,” she declared.
In his vote of thanks, Balarabe Lawal Zaria said that a vote for Farida will not be regretted ad it would translate to growth of the union.
