NUJ Delta Congratulates Isiguzo For Emerging CAJ President

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council has congratulated the National President, Comrade Chief Chris Isiguzo on his emergence as the President of the Congress of African Journalists (CAJ).

Delta State Council and Comrade Patrick Ochei, Secretary, Delta State Council, said: “We especially give glory to God for His grace upon our National President and for always seeing him through in all his endeavours.”

“This confidence reposed in him that made members to have unanimously voted him to take over the mantle of leadership of CAJ, is an attestation that he truly possesses the capacity and character to pilot the affairs of Journalists in the entire Continent of Africa.

“We wish him well and also call on all our members in the State and beyond to give him the necessary support and cooperation to succeed and surpass the record of his predecessors,” the statement added.

NUJ Delta prayed for God’s wisdom, grace and mercy to guide him and direct him towards making the best of decisions that will attract welfare to Journalists in Africa, and Nigeria in particular..
