Delta Cancels Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise Tomorrow

Delta State Government has said that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for on Saturday, April 29, 2023, will not hold.
A statement on Friday signed from the Ministry of Information, Asaba, signed by Theresa Adiabua Oliko, Director of Information, said the “cancellation is due to the ongoing University and Tertiary Examinations (UTME) across the country.”
Adding: “The Commissioner for Environment, Chief Godspower Asuiwhu, however, advised residents to cut overgrown week, desilt drainages and keep their environment clean to prevent the spread of diseases.”
According to the statement, “residents are reminded that it is their responsibility to keep clean 20 metre radius of their premises.”
