Bauchi First Lady Rescues Accident Victims Along Jos-Bauchi Federal Highway

It was a touching moment on Tuesday afternoon when Bauchi State First Lady Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed came across an accident scene along the ever busy Jos-Bauchi federal highway and ordered her convoy to stop and provide assistance to the victims of the incident.
Hajiya Bala Mohammed and members of her entourage were practically seen assisting and consoling the injured, where she ordered the evacuation of the injured victims to Toro General Hospital in one of her official vehicles.
According to the press secretary of the First Lady, Hajiya Murjanatu Musa Maidawa, Hajiya Bala Mohammed was on her way back to Bauchi from an official function in Abuja when her convoy came across the scene few minutes after it happened.
The First Lady thereafter visited the injured victims at the General Hospital and paid all their medical bills and further commiserated with the victims , encouraging them to see the accident as the will of God.

While sympathizing with those that survived the accident without any injury, the the First Lady thanked God for sparing their lives despite being involved in the accident.
She also paid for their transportation fare to continue their journey to Maiduguri in Borno State.
