U3 Political Front Urges Solomon Ahwinahwi To Join 2027 House Of Representatives Race
The U3 Political Front (UPF), a political pressure group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on former federal lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Solomon Ahwinahwi, to declare interest and contest the 2027 House of Representatives election for the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency.
The group made the call on Monday, April 13, 2026, during a strategic meeting held at Ekete Inland in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The meeting brought together members drawn from various kingdoms across the three local government areas in the constituency.
The gathering was convened to review emerging political developments and assess leadership needs ahead of the 2027 general elections, with particular focus on effective representation for the constituency.
In a statement on Monday, Udurukevwe Omonigho, Chairman/Coordinator, U3 Political Front, said that “after extensive deliberations, the U3 Political Front unanimously resolved that Solomon Ahwinahwi remains a standout figure whose leadership qualities and track record make him highly suitable for a return to the National Assembly.”

The group described him as a tested, selfless, and impactful leader who previously served two terms in the House of Representatives, during which he was credited with advancing human capital development, empowering youths and women, and attracting developmental projects to the constituency.
Consequently, the group urged him to once again present himself for service by contesting under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming election.
According to the Front, Ahwinahwi’s wide acceptance across Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu, as well as his grassroots connection and political experience, position him as a unifying figure capable of strengthening representation and attracting greater federal presence to the area.
The group further stressed that as the 2027 elections approach, the constituency requires experienced and result-driven leadership to ensure continued development and effective representation at the national level.
