Delta To Transform Teleclass To A Robust E-learning Platform, Says Ukah

Delta State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Patrick Ukah, has said that through the Teleclass programme of the ministry, the state government is determined to upscale e-learning platform in order to ensure robust and more participatory learning activities.
Mr. Ukah gave the assurance in his office in Asaba shortly after receiving an award for effective service delivery from the Centre for Education Development and Skill Acquisition Initiative (CEDESA).
The Basic and Secondary Education Commissioner, who was represented by his Special Assistant, Mr. Felix Ideh, said that his Ministry has put measures in place to translate it’s mentoring programme into monthly activity.
While saying that the ‘back to school’ programme of the ministry has recorded tremendous impacts and commended the team for their contribution to the success of the programme, Mr. Ukah pledged to continue to partner with CEDESA and thanked them for finding him worthy for the recognition.
In her remarks, the Project Director of CEDESA, Mrs. Ugbe Oluronke, noted that education played leadership role in the foundation and mentorship of children, adding that the group was a civil society organisation designed to promote the ideals of a world fit for all humans through education department, youth mentoring and entrepreneurship.
She lauded the Commissioner for the good job of mentoring students through the Back to School programme and resumption test and charged teachers to be more committed in translating educational goals, objectives and principles as they interacted with students.
