SA To Okowa On Community Newspapers Lauds Publishers In Delta, Seeks More Support For DTSG

Special Assistant (SA) on Community Newspapers to Delta State Governor, Comrade Jonathan Onwuka, has tasked community-based publishers of newspapers and magazines in the state to continue their support of the Okowa administration to enable him finish strong after six smooth years at the saddle of leadership in the state.
Onwuka, made this call on Wednesday in Asaba during a visit to members of the Association of Community Newspapers Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN), Delta State chapter.
While applauding the administration of Okowa for the impact so far in the areas of education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, security, etc, he disclosed that there are plans to establish a vocation centre in each local government area of the state, saying that the governor is determined to continue to impact positively on the lives of Deltans.

”Look at Asaba and see roads everywhere.
”The governor’s spread of infrastructure is even and no senatorial district is left behind.
”I must commend ACNPN because you are a part of those that have made Okowa’s tenure smooth. I urge you to do more,” he said.
Responding, the Chairman of the association, Comrade Jude Obieyemengo, thanked the government official for the visit, as he congratulated the Governor on his sixth anniversary and assured the state government of more partnership in order to move the state forward with the overall intention of putting smiles on the faces of Deltans.
