Saraki Remains Best Candidate For PDP National Chairmanship – Northern Youths

A group, Coalition Of Northern Nigeria Youth Congress (CNNYC) has appealed to former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki to in the interest of the party, join the race to become the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

They made the appeal in a statement signed by their Secretary General, Comrade Hamza Bichi, made available to newsmen in Kano on Monday, adding that only Saraki can weather the raging storm against Northern NIgeria.

According to the group, with his credentials, Senator Saraki is in the best position to galvanize the party to greater heights, thereby, uniting the North and propelling to greater political heights.

“We have been following him right from when he was the Executive Governor of Kwara State, up to when he emerged Senate President and have been so far, impressed by his charisma, leadership qualities and prowess as an astute administrator.

“We therefore, appeal to Dr. Saraki to come and salvage our region, Northern NIgeria, by steering activities at the PDP, which has proved to be the best party that has the masses at heart,” the group said.

They further explained that with the way he calmed the storm while his traducers desperately wanted him removed as the Senate President, his wealth of experience and doggedness will be of huge advantage to the PDP.
