Repent Or Relocate, Be Caught And Face Justice, NSCDC Commandant Spits Fire To Criminals In Delta

The Delta State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Akinsanya Iskilu Abiodun disclosed this to newsmen in Asaba, the Delta State Capital while parading 19 suspects, 2 tankers and 7 trucks arrested for various crimes across the State.

Akinsanya while parading the suspects and exhibits at the NSCDC State Headquarters yesterday in Asaba, stated that the morale booster by the all performing Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Dr Abubakar Audi Ahmed PhD(mni) has yielded meaningful and significant results in the past and present.

The Award winning Commandant, said that two(2) of the suspects Odiaka Divine (m) 22yrs and Monday Bakwana (m) 28yrs were arrested by the Tactical Squad of the Anti-Vandal Unit in Patani LGA of Delta State on the 9th of March 2022 while they were conveying petroleum product suspected to be illegally refined DPK (Dual Purpose Kerosine) in polythene sacks inside a Mercedes 817 mini truck.

Also paraded were 17 suspects, 2 tankers and 6trucks loaded with illegally refined petroleum products suspected to be AGO (Diesel) that was arrested in Ozoro, the headquarters of Isoko North LGA of Delta State by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad in less than 48hours on arrival and operations in the state.

He gave the names of the suspects as:

(1) Zuhairu Muhammed (m) 32yrs.

(2) Masahudu Usman (m) 42yrs

(3) Zakari Kano (m) 35yrs

(4) Alex A. M (m) 25yrs

(5) Dalamin Bako (m) 30yrs

(6) Gambo Abudlahi (m) 20yrs

(7) Muhammed Mamuda (m) 25yrs

(8) Rabiu Saidu (m) 25yrs

(9) Shuaibu A Shuaibu (m) 20yrs

(10) Abudlahi M. Adamu (m) 24yrs

(11) Zakariya Haruna (m) 20yrs

(12) Abudlahi Sani (m) 22yrs

(13) Salisu Abubakar (m) 27yrs

(14) Isa Haruna (m) 23yrs

(15) Ibrahim Adamu (m) 25yrs

(16) Ali Usman (m) 25yrs

(17) Salisu Zakaria (m) 20yrs.

While assuring Deltans of the resilience and commitment of the NSCDC, the Commandant maintained that the fight against pipeline vandalism, crude oil theft, general vandalism and all round criminality has been taken to an enviable and achievable pedestal in the state.

In a professional and conscious steps to rid the state of vandalism, crime and criminality, Akinsanya warned and advice all criminals and enemies of the state to either Repent or Relocate hence, they will be brought to justice soon.

He assured the public that upon investigation, the suspects will be charged to court to serve as deterrent to others, Commandant Akinsanya said.
