DELSU Announces Refund For Students Who Paid Fees Before NELFUND Disbursement
Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has announced that students who paid their institutional fees prior to the disbursement of funds by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) are eligible to apply for a refund.
This was contained in an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and addressed to concerned students on April 20, 2026.
According to the memorandum, affected students are required to submit their refund applications through their respective Heads of Department and Deans to the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).

The document stated that each application must be accompanied by evidence of NELFUND disbursement (printed copy), the student’s account details, and a valid phone number.
It further directed that all submissions must follow the approved administrative channel and be properly documented to ensure smooth processing.
The memorandum was signed by Engr. Prof. Hilary Ijeoma Owamah, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), DELSU.
