Courtesy Visit: Uzzi Of Idjerhe Kingdom Lauds Agbagi Over Development

The Iyasere of Idjerhe Kingdom, Uzzi Gabriel Emeje, has lauded the pragmatic leadership style and unalloyed support of High Chief Solomon Odemero Agbagi, the Unevworo of Idjerhe Kingdom over his involvement in the development of Idjerhe Kingdom.

The Uzzi made this call recently in Jesse, the Traditional Administrative Headquarters of Idjerhe Kingdom when High Chief Agbagi, paid him a royal courtesy visit at his place.

Uzzi Emeje while expressing satisfaction at the manner in which the Unevworo and his team are piloting the affairs of the Jesse Central Oguedion, said that he has absolute confidence in the leadership of the Acting Unugbrogodo of Idjerhe Kingdom, High Chief Solomon Odemero Agbagi JP.

The Regent added that Chief Solomon Odemero Agbagi has his total support and blessings as the Unevworo of Idjerhe Central Uguedion and the support of the Ovie in Council, noting that, they are fully aware of all the recent happenings in the kingdom and urged Chief Agbagi to maintain the tempo of open door policy and all inclusive administration.

On his part, the UnUnevworo told journalists that the visit is in recognition of the Iyasere of Idjerhe Kingdom, Uzzi, Gabriel Emeje as the Regent of the land and second in command in the entire kingdom.

Agbagi who is also the Acting Unugbrogodo of the Jesse Central Oguedion, in his speech asserted that the royal courtesy visit on the Uzzi became necessary because since he (Agbagi ) was installed as the Unuevworo of the Jesse Central Oguedion, it becomes necessary and a point of official duty to pay homage to the Regent, maintaining that, the Uzzi has demonstrated true spirit of support and leadership to the good people of Idjerhe Kingdom

He added that since the demise of the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, the Uzzi has piloted the affairs of the land very well and his testimony of stewardship cannot be over empahsed.

The Unevworo in his remarks, said that the Jesse Central Oguedion and the entire kingdom have experienced relative peace, corporation of the people in ensuring that the best is achieved.

He maintained that, in the history of the kingdom, a new youth leadership came on board without any form of bloodshed as it  was in the past. It was also observed that Chiefs in Idjerhe Kingdom now have absolute personal and official conduct in the discharge of their respective duties.

The recent relocation of the status of the founder of Idjerhe Kingdom from the police station to the center of the town is worth commending.

Also, the distribution of palliatives to Idjerhe people including Chiefs during the lockdown is also worth mentioning and other developmental and commendable projects especially in the area of security to mention but a few.

Agbagi who reiterated his commitment to the security of the kingdom, assured the new Divisional Police Officer of Jesse, CSP Edmund Knight of the kingdom’s total support in the discharge of his duty.

Agbagi who said that, the interest of Idjerhe Kingdom supersedes any other personal interest, noted that this administration under his leadership as the Acting Unugbrogodo of the Jesse Central Oguedion is geared towards revamping, rebranding, redefining , rewriting and consolidating on the new Idjerhe Kingdom for future generations.

Similarly, the acting Unugbrogodo, asserted that the ban of the Chiefs who crowed one Mr. Omasoro Agofere in their kangaroo meeting sometime ago, still stands since those involved have no repentant spirit.

Chief William Atiti , the Unugbrogodo of Oyonubu sub-clan while expressing dissatisfaction at the manners in which Mr. Omasoro Agofere is still parading himself as the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom after the government and the Ovie in Council have warned and ordered him to remove the beeds on his legs, the said imposter king and his cohorts have refused to adhere to these orders.

Present at the visit include: Uzzi Gabriel Emeje, the Iyasere of Idjerhe Kingdom, Chief William Atiti, the Unugbrogodo of Oyonubu sub-clan, Chief Edafeburh John, the Unugbrogodo of Boborokun sub-clan, Chief Omonode and Chief Onoighen Oyibo JP.

Others are Chief Goodluck Oyibo, Chief London Akpanoko, Chief Prince Aghomi, Chief Kingsley Erwoerhurhoma, Chief Daniel Ireghe, among other senior Chiefs of the Kingdom including the new Divisional Police Officer of Jesse, CSP, Edmund Knight.
