The Executive Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe JP, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Hon. Ese Idisi, the Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope East.
Ogedegbe said the news of Idisi’s killing left him heartbroken, noting that he shares in the grief of the family, the APC in Ethiope East, and the entire Local Government Area. He described Idisi as a committed and dependable member of the Party whose loss has created a painful void in the Party.
He condemned the incident, stating that acts like this have no place in Ethiope East and will not be tolerated. Ogedegbe added that the Local Government will not stand by while fear or disorder threatens the peace of the area. He called on the police to move quickly, identify those behind the killing, arrest them, and ensure they face justice.
